Clever planning by our City Council has the roundabout awash with a variety of blooming ornamental chinese cabbage plants that lends brilliant colour to an otherwise wintery street scene.

Timor and Fairy streets were named by surveyor William Pickering who laid out the original Warrnambool township in the 1840’s in what was one of the first government townships in the colony of Port Phillip.

The colourfully planted roundabout is just a block from Warrnambool’s train station and the brilliant foliage and stunning show of colour brightens up the business surrounds and promises that spring is not too far away.
